I made a commitment to my wife many decades ago. And we are still together despite me being far from the perfect husband. I made a commitment to help raise a family. We have 2 wonderful children who have turned into wonderful adults. I made a commitment to work in the newspaper industry for my career. I’ve been at it for 40 years this coming Feb., not counting the year or two I delivered papers in my youth. I have loved each one, so none of it was work. Well maybe a bit of it.
A few years ago I decided I thougtht I’d stick my neck out and commit to opening my own business, becoming a writer, photographer and artist after I finish my career in Newspapers. I got started last year while still working my main job. And it hasn’t been the flying start I had hoped for because there are only so many hours in a day. But the happiness in trying to create again and leave a body of work that I could be proud of is an opportunity that I couldn’t resist starting on. So I’m hitching up more horses with a renewed spirit and insight into what I’d like to accomplish in the remainder of this year.
And once I finish that list I hope you start to see some results.

- Quality always takes time and experience. Crap can also take a lot of time and experience.
- So many goals. So little weekend.
- My better half returns today. I will be whole again.
