Yeah its hot enough yesterday that if you finished that walk out to the end of the pier the only thought would be jumping in the water. And I love it. I was outside working before the afternoon storms. Days like this is when I miss having a pool to jump in afterwards. Of course working on keeping a pool clean and the water right is a chore and a half. I never had one of those automatic vacs. I was the pool boy. The house came with it when we bought it and the pool was more like a pond than anything else. Took many $$$ to get it going.
But I’m glad I did because the kids enjoyed it and I did also for a number of years. But then I was spending more time maintaining than in it. So when an underground pipe broke the year before last we decided to fill it in. That is taking place this year. So now I find myself drawn to bodies of water more. Must be the withdraw symptoms.
Some dangerous examples of leadership are being shown to us. Remember the phrase. “If you don’t learn from history, you’re doomed to repeat it.”
Even though my body aches from hard work. It’s a good mental feeling.
I’m saddened that so many pictures seem to be electronic, and not in print. What will people put on their walls in the future?
Did a good deed yesterday. Lets see if we can get a few more in this week.
Still looking for the day I write something useful. My luck I won’t know it before I’m gone.
