More reflecting

Yuck, what a washout. Not often I’m woke by rain, but today was one of them. Then the day went downhill till early evening when I started to feel better but then we lost power again. 2nd time in last 3 days. No problem, the next few days I hope to be out and about. Charging up the imaging equipment now and excited as hell about a number of things.

One of them is spending a day with my daughter this week. It’s our summer father/daughter day. Something that I always have these mental snapshots from. That’s my favorite photo library, the one of my family in my mind.

I hope to unwind this weekend and appreciate the sheer joy of taking care of a pet again. Too bad people don’t have the unconditional love that animals seem to have.

Seems like I have a bit of a reflection theme going the last two days. Always good to reflect. I’m far from perfect. I have views and perspectives that might not be complete. I could do more for others. I could take better care of myself. I could be more sharing. Well that was interesting. Guess I have a lot more work to do.

Looks like the Donald stirred up a S Storm again. You know that foot injury he claimed to skip Vietnam might be true. Seems like a habit of shooting himself there hasn’t stopped.

The tide has changed today. Either I’ll need to take the trigger lock off and get more ammo or good people in this country will step up and lead us out of this difficult time and situation.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
