Enough already

OK Mother Nature. I think I said Uncle last week. Are you not familiar with its meaning? Can you hear us? Oh that’s right, you’re going to do what you want to do. I know the eastern shore of Maryland looks nothing like this today. Would be more of a white out with a foot of snow. Like I need another reminder each morning of why I HATE winter.

Not like this today.

Actually hate is a strong term. I would go look up a few thousand other adjectives to describe my feeling about it but I can hear them from the mouths of others as this cold front moves in on top of a cold front on top of it being the cold season. Actually in full disclosure, I haven’t been out of the house in almost a week now, being sick as a dog.

Normally after a few days I get cabin fever but no way am I in any hurry to step foot outside. Of course I would not rather be sick than forced to go outside and brave the temps but in retrospect the timing has been great. Yeah I know its only the first few weeks of winter, that is what is so depressing about it. Many are suffering or perishing outside. Our public servants are being brutalized. This is weather not fit for man or beast.

So in that spirit I’m providing a shot of warmth to give us hope of sunsets on the bay in 90 degree temps.

Random Thoughts of the Day

Nice try Terps, looks like Mich St is #1 for a good reason.

Even though I’m feeling a bit better every day, I can’t wait till this has passed for good.

You know who would be good doing the weather forecast in times like these. Sam Kinison. I can see him just yelling AAAHHHHH AAAAHHHH  AAAAHHH. That would be a better description instead of all those stats.

Did you see the video of the guy surfing in OC today? That is one sick puppy.

Well, let me get horizontal again before I get coughing so hard I can’t get to sleep.

I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. It is way too cold, even in Atlanta. Can’t imagine up north!
