Sorry about the absence, been unusually busy at both the job that pays the bills and at home. And I’ve been mired in deep thought about several issues. Ones that need a lot of thought and consideration. It’s always good to be thinking. Evaluating things, because as we all know the only constant in life is change.

I’ve not been one of much change and it has for the most part worked well for me. I’m sure the same would hold true for many who embrace change. It’s not that I don’t like change or progression. This is one of the most important things in life. To stay relevent at any job you have to stay current and working in technology I’ve seen and experienced a ton of change.

In personal relationships change and growth are good, otherwise your just reliving the same moments or in the past. Sometimes change is for the better. Many people I know have experienced great results from major change. But there is the flip side also. Change always involved risk and I’ve never been a big gambler.

But its a Friday so time to have some balance and enjoy the moment. After a dreary morning we decided to take a walk around old Ellicott City. We stopped and had a good meal at the Ellicott Mills Brewing Company. Good service and good food. I also finally made it to the E.C. Pops store and got a bag of extra buttery Carmel corn. Yep its gone already.

My kind of ride, 2 seats no roof.

Nice to see that town bounce back strong again. Speaking of strong, this thing rolled by as we were heading up the street. And yes it sounded like one of these should.

Looks good coming and going.

So out again on Saturday to do some shooting. Helps me relax and clear my mind. Not that there is much work doing that. Did learn a few new things today about myself and camera.

Nice Hours.

Random Thoughts of the Day

It’s possible to waste time on a bunch of unimportant things.

It’s possible to worry a lot about a bunch of unimportant things.

But its the weekend and there is famly and friends to see, and that is the important thing.

I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
