Morning stroll

Had to combine a few activities this morning. Some exercise, photography and more thought. And I was feeling a bit like the morning weather which was a pretty dense fog. Didn’t really have an objective this morning except to walk and shoot. Oh yeah, pick up a newspaper with the coupon/sale insert for my better half. Damn responsiblity.

Going to take a while to sort through some issues. But while I do I’ll make the best use of time that I can. And walking and shooting helps with my mental outlook and relaxation. And I need relaxation because I’m keyed up about several things.

So that two and a half mile walk around Centennial Lake was a good start. Might try to take another walk after the daily chores. Being the sun is out strong it’s going to be outside chores.

Maybe a walk up to the local snowball stand later on? That would be nice on a 70 degree day. Of course every 10 degrees the temperature goes up the taste and satisfaction level of a snowball also rises.

Traffic is bad in this county everywhere.

Was good getting out early. I almost went back to bed at 7am. And when I left the fog was so dense I was wondering if I was going to get anything but haze. But actually unusual weather makes familiar places and events look different.

Can you see the forest through the trees? NO

I’d love to be able to have a couple of hours a day to shoot and process. Just going to have to make the time because I love having space to publish work.

This afternoon has been a workout. Moved a ton of wood from an ash tree I had cut down. Along with 6 other pines. I have a feeling I’m going to be feeling it later also. Such is life, got to keep this body active.

Duck Duck Goose, well there was a goose, I heard them honking.

Oh boy, what a workout, just finished moving close to a cord of wood. Did you know wood is HEAVY? Take my word, it is. And the back isn’t screaming at me and both shoulders held up very well so I feel good. Its my goal to keep doing physical work as long as I can.
