Life is full of coordination and conflicts. Most of the time I’m fairly lucky in managing them but occasionally and recently I’m been missing some old friends that gather several times a year. I missed a party with them today, and I missed a meeting a few weeks ago. One family priority and the other health. But I still miss them greatly.
We shared a lot of time together. One of them I’ve known for 42 of my 61 years through work and personal friendship. So close that I also call him brother. Anyway I miss these folks and I’m going to make an effort to see each of them very soon.
What a wonderful day it was though. Sometime I feel like life is spinning out of control. But today has left me smiling and almost giddy.
I’ve got a spring in my step after yesterday. Well at least I can walk without pain today. And I feel I got my family recharge that was sorely needed heading into everyone’s packed schedule these coming months. Even though it may look like I’m walking alone above, I’m ready to soar on the warm remaining breezes of the fleeting summer.
Random Thoughts of the Day
Today is a day that some people of large stature looked small while one who was small and flat on his back loomed huge.
I haven’t lost my touch on the grill.
It’s nice to see a group of young men pull together in times of tragedy and hardship. Go Terps
Working holiday weekends, SUCKS. And not this blog isn’t work. Its pleasure.
Find reasons to move forward, it’s a lot easier than driving in reverse.
