Was going to pay my respects to my parents today, but with a few inches of rain falling I’ve postponed this to one day this week. I’m not crazy about this storm coming later in the week also. And its back to work for a full week again. This year is flying by and I need to make better use of my time. I’m improving on it but can do better. So we are going to make a better effort this week on the site.

Uncle – I’ve had enough rain.

But its back to work this evening. Got to keep those bills paid. I wonder if I can fit some more cpu’s and screens on my desk? One of these days I’ve got to count up all the different monitors we have to look at each night repeatedly. Anyway its a full week of work ahead. Gearing up for elections in a few weeks. Plus opening some new space soon. Glad the construction will be over with.

I’m looking forward to the coming weekend with a family wedding on tap. Should be a great time. Got a new suit for the event. Nothing special, just a JC Penney one. I’m not one to get dressed up too often. Just don’t all the things that go along with it. Dress socks and shoes, belts, long pants and a jacket. And that dreaded choker (the tie) that I despise. Yeah people tell me I clean up nicely but it’s just not me.

Gym shorts, tee-shirt and flip-flops are more my speed and happy outfit. That will be my retirement suit.

Random Thoughts of the Day

Found a new place to eat that we will be returning to. Good service, good food nice both’s. Basta Pasta in Eldersburg.

It’s a good thing I don’t bet professional football for a living, I’d be homeless.

I used to dread having to get a haircut. Now I look forward to it. Think I’ll grab one Monday morning.

I consider it a very successful week when I don’t need any pain meds.

Don’t you just love it when people make changes and don’t communicate them?

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
