I decided to use this photo as a contrast to the actual day here it is in the great state of Maryland today. And to sum that up, it’s a wet mess. Not the kind of day for a sunrise like this. Sort of sums up my feelings about the coming week. I have another cancer screening test and a dentist appointment. And I return to work from a week of vacation. Talk about piling on.

No matter, it’s going to be a good week ahead. One that seems to be starting off with a few days of rain. That’s OK, it will give me time to organize a few things inside.
This has been a joyous month, indeed. It started off with the news that has left me smiling and floating along a path of joy. My daughter told us that we will be having our first grandchild. I can’t tell you the happiness I have about being here on earth for this event. For I’ve been blessed with the best children any father could ask for and I’m wishing the same for them also.
Random Thoughts of the Day
Sure enough, drive the beltway on a rainy day and your bound to see an accident.
Getting old sure comes with a bunch of uncomfortable test. And I used to think school test were hard.
If you can find a supportive better half in life, it sure makes it a hell of a lot easier getting through it with someone in your corner. And there is no better feeling than being able to be there for them also.
We had our Son’s dog for the weekend and it was a lot of fun. Probably more for us than her. But then again we did spoil the hell out of her.
Work really gets in the way of a good time and sleep. But it does keep me from being homeless and hungry so I guess I’ll buck up.
