I’ve been doing this half way for a long time. I’m trying to take steps to change that. Yes they are small but in the right direction. Things like posting more consistently (only missed 3 days in last 2 months). Trying to add some recent photography instead of hitting the archive as often. But I do realize the writing is lacking and I hope to put more thought into the words and topics I touch on.
Which Direction to choose today.

Hell I’ve been around Newspapers all my life, I should know how to put a plan and better workflow together. Its still a lot of work and time to do it all and that is another thing I’ve done about half way, maybe less. Most of what I do is out of my expertise. I’ve been on the technical and production side of the business for a long time. Yeah I interface and sometimes have worked closely with creative departments but a designer I’m not. I’m not a professional photojournalist. And I’m certainly a few lifetimes away from a Pulitzer.
Learning the tools I have available is also something I’ve put a half way effort into so far. That is going to change. Because I love the creative outlet this provides and all the possibilities. So its out the door early tomorrow for some inspiration, images and exercise of the body and mind.

Its Fleet Week in Baltimore starting today. Air show on Saturday and Sunday I believe.
I’m going to start exploring and connecting with local artist through the Howard County Arts Counsel. Something I should have started a long time ago. No confidence on my part. Not that I have any now, but I’m going to try to overcome it.
James, fire up the Rolls Royce, were going to the Sailboat boat show in Annapolis. I was thinking of heading down for some photos but saw tickets are $35. A little pricey to grab a few shots. Not that I know anything about sailboats except that I find them beautiful.
Random Thoughts of the Day
I’m already tired of all the political ads on TV. Time to turn that nonsense off and investigate on my own online and then make the decision.
I’m disappointed at the O’s and Buck parting ways. He is a good man of character and ability. A CLASS ACT.
Nothing like opening a fresh bag of Ginger Snaps. Someone quick, tell me to step away from the bag….
