Thinking of warmer days and summer walks in Annapolis and other beautiful spots in the state of Maryland. Making this a positive year so far and loving every minute of it. I think because I’m taking it a day at a time. Just thinking about what can be done with these 24 hours and making more progress than I have in years on several fronts.
I seem to be making a better balance of each day and getting some better rest which makes me strong in the hours I’m awake. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m still burning away 18-20 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. But those other 2-3 days I’m horizontal more.
I knew this would get harder trying to create posts each day with work getting busier, but the more I do here, the easier it becomes.
Every once in a while I go back over old shoots to see what I might not have used on the blog yet when I’ve been short on time to shoot fresh images. And every once in a while I find something I like that I thought might be trash at first.
I was skimming through this batch of Annapolis shots from last August. I saw this reflection shot and said ok, and started adjusting because it was very dark. And then I noticed the log of chocolate fudge on the table inside and that it was perfectly reflecting in the thighs of the couple sitting at the table in the reflection of the window.
You can rest assured this wasn’t done on purpose. I was probably looking at the reflection but didn’t plan that roll of fudge being placed over their legs. So sometimes luck wins out. But sometimes luck is just working at something and stumbling and finding a nugget.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I’m of the belief that I’ll have another.
- I’ll just be getting to sleep good when a youngin just short of 3 years old will announce her presenese. Which is about the only voice I could smile at after only 2 hours sleep.
- The less time you spend asking yourself why some people do the things they do or don’t do the things they should do, the happier you will be.
