I’ve got to start having fun with telemarketers again. I used to have a brother-in-law that would torture those poor fools. Keep them on the phone for the longest time pretending to be interested but working on his truck or a home project. Or pretending to mishear stuff to frustrate the person. Or get to the end and give a fake credit card number and when it failed, he would say, worked yesterday and hang up.
Some days I really miss how Mom cooked some of my favorite meals. A young child laughed today because of me. There are few better feelings than a young child reaching for your hand to guide them. Your grandchild is someone you can build block towers all day long just for her to knock over.
I promise to have something of interest this weekend. Work was on overdrive this week.

- Pain gives one pause.
- I don’t intend on watching any USFL and it’s not because I don’t like football. I just don’t need another league to keep up with. Plus, its BASKETBALL SEASON
