I’m sorry, I have to start celebrating today. My weekend has begun and I’m a happy camper. It was a great start to it with a beautiful day. I took a stroll through Old Ellicott City. Kissed my better half. Saw my best friends and laughed, I even have time left to exercise or create.

A friend told me “You will know when it’s time” which may be one of the most prophetic statements I’ve heard. And in some ways what we were talking about (retirement) and our shared history he was making a very accurate statement.
I didn’t hear that much when I was young. Now that I’m older I hear it a lot more. Knowing when it was “the time” in the younger years was difficult at best. When do I change jobs? When do I ask for her hand in marriage? When do we start a family? Do we go with the large sedan or the small SUV? Do we buy this house or that one?
Well, those decisions were made. Maybe it’s easier now because there are fewer decisions. Could be that why we spend so much time picking where we go out to eat?
Random Thoughts of the Day
- Funny how people who tailgate really dislike being tailgated.
- How long of a workout is needed to work off an Italian Sub?
- Some people make it hard to help. But that doesn’t always mean you should try less.
- I wonder if I can generate enough positive waves to overcome the inclement weather ahead.
