What do we really do our best at? When do we devote ourselves to something totally in our lifetimes? And even when we commit ourselves to something how long did that effort last? Can we dedicate ourselves to multiple things simultaneously and still be our best?
Too much dedication to one thing may throw off the life balance. Then again how few of us can make that total devotion to something and excel at the highest level at? It’s something we all marvel at and a lot of us aspire to.
Maybe the better question is how we apply ourselves and what choices we make about our dedication and devotion to act while keeping a good life balance.
Which ladders we chose to take in life isn’t the issue. How well you do at that height and how happy you are is what matters.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- I really have to start writing down the day’s thoughts as they happen instead of trying to remember them at the end of the day.
- As a youth, you’re too busy doing things to have the need to remember any of them. Whereas a senior you forget what you wanted to do before starting it.
- I keep redefining tired.
