Hump Day

I’m glad the pace is slowed this week. The last two weeks have been packed with appointments, events, trips, and much fun. It’s given me a little better balance being away from the computer for a bit longer periods.

It’s time to go for a cruise and continue the fall shooting. The top is coming down despite it being only 62 degrees. The sun feels good and it will warm quickly.

Great days for riding, or having the top down in my case. Photo by Mike Hartley

Given the number of bikes I saw out yesterday I’m guessing a few people were playing hooky from work. I did that a few days myself when I rode. Those early spring or late fall days that are warmer than usual trigger some kind of urge that is impossible to fight some days.

I think I’ll head to the part of the county I grew up in. Da Soufh, and see if I can remember some good spots to shoot. But chores will be calling me by afternoon.

Be safe, be happy.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Slow lenes like light. So say my slow camera lenes.
  • Time is of the essence. But I don’t feel as fast as I used to.
  • Figures the riding mower would mess with me on the last cut or two of the season. Push time.
  • I don’t want an app to make a reservation. I don’t want an app to let me into my hotel room. I don’t want an app to park. I don’t want an app to eat. I don’t want an app to shop. I don’t want an app to see a concert. I don’t want an app to pay. I don’t want an app to look at my medical records. I don’t want an app for the pharmacy.
  • I’m sorry about the above rant, I had to get a difficult app to park recently and lost it. I just realized if I lose my cell phone I can’t go anywhere. I got a CODE these companies can read.
