I hate ending the year with a doctor’s appointment. – I may OD on football this weekend. – I don’t know, we could be looking back soon at 2016 as the good old days. – There must be a ton of people out there in love with watching classic cars rolling across and auction block. – Do you ever wonder to yourself after a week of vacation if you really are going back. – I may not step on another scale again for another few weeks. – I’ve got to cook some bacon today in honor of National Bacon Day. – Some might think I have a screw loose, actually it’s probably a few of them, just ask any of my friends.

I just got a text. It’s the last “Party Time” text on a Friday this year. – If you have a job where you work some or most holidays, you have my respect. – The nice thing about most of the pictures on my wall of friends, is that I was there to take most of all of them. And for the few friends no longer with us that is a special connection and memory.

Someone better get a grip on all those meaningless bowl games. – I’m distressed that professional sports don’t pay the officials better. Then again you get what you don’t pay for some games now don’t you. – I think I need a trip to the animal shelter, I know there is always going to be love there. Yep, that might be my next donation.

I’ve gone on long enough here I fear. And I smell fine scents emanating from the kitchen. So till later this evening may a light shine on you all.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
