Like these guys, I’m in the minor leagues now, but one day I’m going to rise to the majors. No not in sports. Even in my prime I couldn’t make the minors. Love playing sports and wasn’t a bad athlete, just not that gifted. But I’m really thinking of my career after retirement. If I’m lucky another 5-10 years of the profession that pays the bills to the next one and my first love. Of course medical insurance could play a big role in when that day comes. And even health in general could affect my retirement date. But I hope neither of those enter into the equation.

So this is crawling. Been doing it the last 3 years but that has built a base of some work and confidence. It’s also shown me the work involved which is really fine because I love learning. And I’m learning a lot about myself and the crafts I love. It’s just going to take time and effort, as all good things do. And you know how I know I’ll be successful. I’ll feel good about the work and I’m sure at least a few family and friends will have something that caused a smile or memory or laugh.
Random Thoughts
Holy crap, did you all see that! A day ended and a new one started. You really should let things like that excite you.
I really hate how important my smart phone has become in my life.
Working is a blessing, keeps us problem kids out of trouble. Well at least 10 hours a day.
I would love to go out and smell some flowers but IT’S TO WET. Good thing the sun returns tomorrow. I get a real attitude with weather days like today.
