I might have to do some digging today, to see what I might turn up.
Will this be the day I capture a special image? Will it be the day I pick up a new book? Will it be the day the Dremel tool comes alive? Will it be the day I resume work on a book I’m writing?
We were going to head to the Antietam Battlefield today but it’s going to be baking and I’d rather choose a nice spring day in the next week or two to wander outside a good bit.
So I’ll get the cameras out for the local flavor again and see what I can bring to this blog this afternoon and evening. Unless I let myself be consumed with chores.
Random Thoughts of the Morning
- Many of my neighbor’s landscaping companies all like to start around 7 or 8 am. Because I always hear those big mowers crank up like this morning at 7:30 am. I always wondered if the adage of not cutting grass early in the day was true so I Googled it as any good idiot does nowadays and they say = “Early morning (6 – 8 a.m.) is not recommended for mowing This is one of the worst times to mow. Your lawn will still be wet from the morning dew which will make it messy and hard on your mower. Mowing wet grass also will tear it rather than cut it, which is an open invitation to disease and fungus”
- Some people have the most infectious smile and laugh. I’m glad I know a lot of them.
- I’ve got to photograph a few things for prosperity. Like the peel-off badges, I had for the day before my son was born. Or the notes the kids would write me when they were young. I also have a few old postcards with some messages from my dad that are also fading.
- I learned another new thing about my camera today.
- Let me get out of this chair and get to caulking the front porch.
