I just love me some weekends, just wished the rest of the week wasn’t so brutal to make me appreciate them so. Such is life I guess. Had a great night with the boys on Thursday, watching games, laughing, Ledo pizza and playing with the dogs. Yesterday was a mixture of success and failure. I didn’t get enough accomplished but I did get some time with my better half and some critical things done.
Just stop.

I do have to get one thing off my chest though. I have a best friend who loves Winter. He has been predicting this late snow and also has said we may get some in April. I just have one word for him and its in the picture above.
Today was a family day which always sets my mind and heart in the right frame. Nothing like that recharge of seeing your children and having good times together. For me it gives me the perspective that I need to return to. One of what is important in life. And family is a strong base to start with and can carry you through life if done right. And each time you gather it leaves you wishing for the next visit to come soon. For love and support when recharged regularly really comes in handy in life.
Only one thing beats Sugar Bakers Cakes. And that is my daughter’s birthday.

I also live vicariously through their pets being I don’t have any of my own at the moment. So its been a great day so far. And now there is the evening of basketball ahead and some work, but the fun kind. I think I’ll get on that treadmill and maybe a good nights sleep to prepare for the work week.

Much respect to those who took the time to March for our Lives in DC and cities around the country and world. Too bad someone is out playing golf again and probably doesn’t even give it a second thought. Well guess what Orange Julius. The kids are coming for you and a lot of their parents and grandparents.
Dedication is washing your car when it isn’t 40+ degrees outside. Yes I’m going out early tomorrow to do mine.
I’m glad there are more people of good character than not. Even though some days it seems you run into an awful lot of them without.
I really hope I have the winning Mega Millions ticket. I’d really like to make it a short work week.
