Sweet Home Chicago

Sweet Home Chicago was just the first song I put on this morning. Nice one to start the day with. You can’t help but smile and get a jump in your step. Music is a great way to start a morning. I’m sitting here typing with both legs bouncing like I’ve got a double bass drum. I was about to jump up and get to the first task of the day (washing the car) when the next tune “Simple Man” started. One of my favorites because it always makes me pause and think.

I was a beautiful day for a pause and reflection, fortunately time was available for both. That and a quick ride around the county and some time with close friends this evening. I was thinking about heading to the beach today but that didn’t materialize. Was kind of looking forward to a slice of Tony’s pizza with some shrimp poppers.

So instead I stopped by the new local pizza shop on Marriottsville Rd and Rt 99 called Go Primo’s NY Pizza Company. I like their thin crust pizza. I’ll put them to the real test soon and order the Fettuccine Alfredo and a Cannoli the next time I’m there.

Tomorrow is a special day with my son. Really looking forward to that. And I’m also looking forward to getting this window fixed.

Random Thoughts of the Day

Ed King passed today. A member of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. Kind of sheds a new light on listening to some of their tunes earlier in the day.

I’m going to start my search on making some good stuffed burgers.

Funny thing, I notice a lot of people I grew up watching in movies or tv or their music are passing away.

I love the reaction I get when I give flowers. Makes every penny spent worth it.

Hoping to string two nights of good sleep together.
