Love that sun

It’s baking out today and I love it. The outdoor cushions have vacated the house and are in their proper place on the deck chairs. The umbrella is up over the picnic table once again. Of course, a ton of pollen was removed from the deck first.

The ride has been shined and the county roads have been traveled. And there are always telltale signs you’re on a country road. Like this guy below who just came across a narrow bridge on Rt 144. There is a fair chance I could have driven the Miata under the center of that thing.

I feel like I’m about a month ahead on my tan. Mowing the backyard was a late-day activity. I finally spent a few minutes in the hammock just before dinner.

Might take another cruise this evening. Then again I have a ton of editing and uploading to do. Also, prep for tomorrow’s shooting.

By the way, I was enjoying the drive too much to stop and shoot so these were taken over the windshield as I cruised.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • I love the sound of my children’s voices.
  • I’m almost to the waist size I was when I got married. And that was a long time ago.
  • Lots of thoughts cross my mind. Fewer cross my lips.
  • Trying to decide what modification I want to make first on the car is difficult.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
