When you say institutions people might think of buildings, government, reform or prison, mental facilities. I tend to think of them as people. Like the guy below on Main Street. Barry and his bubbles. Barry seems to be part of Main Street himself. In front of the store Forget Me Not Factory on Main Street is where you can find him. Entertaining both young and old.
It’s kind of infectious. He makes kids smile and that makes adults smile. There is laughter and an appreciation for the simplest of things. Bubbles. They make kids chase and reach for the sky. They are wonders of color and ever changing shapes when you do the size ones Barry creates. A mild breeze is his friend. And the street is his theater. May he continue to charm and entertain our locals and tourist. Because he has become part of the fabric of that street.
