St. Michaels Maryland is one of my favorite small towns across the bridge. I love this place. Certainly has that small town feel. My first trip there was a number of years ago on a wedding anniversary. We stayed at Bed and Breakfast here and the quiet and ease of the day appealed to me. We also have done a few of day trips also. Good food, a great place for a walk. Some nice little shops and Justine’s Ice Cream shop which is always on my list of stops. If you cover everything here you can go a few miles down the road to Easton. But there certainly are a great number of charms in this small town to see and appreciate so don’t rush off. Going for a sail or a cruise, riding a bike, eating on the waterfront. Also the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, a Winery or maybe a Lighthouse or walking tour. As I think back now I can remember several fine dining experiences here and now I’m thinking I’ve got to schedule a trip there in late spring or early summer now. For I think I’m just scratching the start of my photographs in that area.
