From someone who grew up shooting Black and White, because the cost of doing color was so expensive I still find it a joy to be able to do things in color but I am impressed by the army of photographers who are keeping that art alive and well. A good photo is a good photo and there is certainly something about a good B&W that still captures everyone’s attention.
I struggle with the lack of color in the Winter season, I guess I’ve never opened my eyes properly though because there is always color and light to play with no matter the season. You just have to look a bit deeper in the cold days and nights. So as I charge the gear up to start the quest of the New Years shooting, I’m going to challenge myself to see the beauty of winter and share it till we can get to the spring colors like above.
