The easy chair

I’m on my way soon. Don’t worry, I won’t miss the solo trip to the ocean this year. Just running a little late with that venture. First we are going to need temps to return to the 80’s. Next I’m going to need a sunny day. I never need more than a few dollars for food and drink. So sometime in the next month I’ll be leaving before sunrise and returning home late in the day.

Nothing like this chair.

I’ll take a few hundred shots. Do some cruising on ocean highway. Dumsers for some ice cream. Boardwalk for some junk food. Toes in the sand and a dip in the ocean. A quick shower and change, a relaxing dinner and sunset at Fagers Island to the sounds of 1812 Overture and loud cheer from the crowd as the last sliver of the sun disappears on the horizon.

Then a relaxing ride home well after traffic has subsided from the working stiffs and students. That is unless I run into a friend or family member who has a space on the floor or couch to crash. Then its a two-day trip.

Random Thoughts

The tide of senior people in the administration seems to be turning against the boss. Who needs soap operas? See Rex T comments, this weekend if you need a good example.

Hearing my children’s voices, it reminds me not to sweat the small stuff.

Hateful people are usually not exempt from hate themselves.

I’m becoming a believer of sleep and health. Too bad I didn’t learn that lesson long ago.

People who need to lead and direct with bluster and fear and not leaders.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
