Thoughts are sprouting up all over the place. I find myself rushing, well slowly, to my desk to write them down. Inspirations and words of wisdom. Thoughts of being able to see in 3D to carve. Illustration clouds of colors and shapes to fill the blog. Images too many to list except that I continue to add to the list. Because some days you look at the list and say no to a hundred things but that last one hits a nerve and you begin.
But when the list lingers for a while it can build pressure. For instance I’m trying to knock multiple things on the list off it this month. Publishing each day and adding more images to each post. Maybe trying to section off and title the ramblings of my mind to make it easier for someone to find something of interest.
I’m also taking the advice of someone so important to me that I cherish their opinion. She said sometimes I can say a lot with a few words. You know that is so true and the best writers can make you think all the words are important no matter how long. But I’m far from a best writer so I’m going to try to keep them short and focused. And sometimes an image can supply you with a lot of unspoken words.
So even though I’m running up hill and encountering fences along the way, I just have to keep working, stay positive, challenge myself to do more each day and be happy with the results.
What kind of animal would tie an animal to a post outside during a hurricane and leave himself?
If you’re going to work for yourself, you had better know your faults and work around them or get help with them. Hell, I’d need a cast of thousands around me. Hey, maybe that is the mark of successful people, they have thousands working for them.
