I feel like I’ve been fighting this guy the last week. But I’m starting the comeback I hope.  Still going to take a few more days to get over it but I’m planning on returning to the job that pays the bills next week. Haven’t looked forward to returning to work like this in a while. Almost since the last fight with cancer a few years ago.

Life is good again. Almost.

I hope I haven’t given this to my better half. But tonight she was starting to feel less than 100%. Could be I’ve worn her out from taking care of me. You know us men are the best patients. And while I try not to let the small stuff bother me, when I do get sick, I’m down and out. I can’t thank her enough for the support and care the last week.

You know, I know she loves me very much. But it’s really great to know that when we took our vows and the one about in sickness and in health, some people don’t make it through that one so well. But I know we got each others backs there and you can’t ask for more than that from your spouse. So thank you my beautiful young lady.

Random Thoughts of the Day

I guess SB and DT are no longer best buddies. Funny how that relationship went sour. Two peas in a pod.

Terps got a nice victory last night. Go Maryland.

I’m thankful to my co-workers for covering for my absence this week. And I told them so.

Wishing one of my best friends who is about to be a Grandpa and his daughter much luck in the birth of their first child. And of course his beautiful wife (the 1st Lady) congrats when the time comes. Good think he has that huge truck up in the northeast with this storm coming. I know nothing will stop him with that getting her to the hospital.

Best of luck to another best friend who might be coming down with what I had and to his brother who is recovering also from some pretty substantial medical issues. Come on guys, lets pull ourselves together and get healthy so we can go fishing this year.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
