Each start to a day is special. Well I guess a few of us it’s not so special. For instance a text this morning that flashed across my screen from a friend said something about an APB on a truck that hit him last night. But myself I’m feeling good. The start of the day was special in a sense. My better half taped the Late Show with Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and I finally had a minute to watch it.
What a special moment that seemed to be for many people. It also got me in the spirit again to go listen to some Beatles music. I have a ton of it and play a song here and there but today for some reason it means something more because it takes me back to the 60’s and 70’s which were turbulent times for many including this little kid.
But the piece they did gave me peace again in my heart. Music can do those things. Genuine people talking truthfully. About family, about places and people in their lives. About uplifting spirits. About the creative process. How all greatness seems to come from humble beginnings is no surprise. It’s usually hard work and a view that they can make others see and feel.
