Tuesdays gone. One of the many favorite Skynyrd tunes I like. Tuesdays are like a hump day to me so I’m feeling pretty good. Well except for that doctor’s appointment I scheduled. My better half is on a mission to keep me around as long as possible for some strange reason. I best keep the numbers for life insurance a secret. Just kidding, its nice to have someone so strong in your corner.

I know a good number of people who skip making the appointments or don’t listen to their bodies. I lost a few friends at work this way. Some of them had the same thing I was diagnosed with but it had gotten further along and they couldn’t recover from it. So while I hate visiting the doctors and the associated procedures, I’ll reluctantly go along for now.

Random Thoughts of the Day

Where the hell did July go? Oh yeah, it was rained out the last two weeks. I wish it could be rescheduled like a ballgame.

I feel for the kids when teams trade away their stars to rebuild their franchises. (See the Orioles). But on the other side of the coin my neighbor’s son just got traded from Atlanta to the Orioles organization so now hopefully they can see him play more. And what is more special than growing up and playing for the home team you grew up in.  I can already see the smile on his parents faces.

I’ve got a plan for tomorrow but that is always subject to change.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
