Sunny, about 85-90 degrees with a mild breeze is my type of weather. Gym shorts, maybe a tee shirt, flip flops, or sneakers. I love absorbing the sun. It’s like this energy that sustains me throughout the year.
From the top down on the car for a warm summer morning ride in the country, pulling a beach towel from the trunk and hitting the sands, or just laying on my deck after a hard day’s work.
I love some summer weather. Even the thunderstorms are interesting to watch. I think I have some storm-chaser genes in my blood somewhere.
Unlike today, where it’s in the mid-40s this morning and a flood watch is in effect. So here is to a better tomorrow.

While warm weather is always preferred, there are no truly bad days in nature. Each type of weather carries its own mystery and magic, waiting to be discovered if one looks closely enough. At this very moment, it’s cold where I am—indeed, it’s -8°C—but the air feels crisp and fresh. The morning rays of the sun are so bright that they’re almost blinding, yet they hold magic, a sense of warmth and wonder.
