Had a great day with some old friends yesterday but finished it up with a headache. Such is life. A couple Tylenol and all was well again.
Today might not be so nice. Got some 50+ mph wind gusts coming later this morning and that always increases our likelihood of power loss. So I’m charging the batteries on the cameras and will do some shooting if we do.
Two of my least favorite things, wind and cold together. A warm summer breeze is a welcome thing. A 50 mph gust and temps in the 20s is pretty unpleasant.
I do have go out for a few errands but I’ll probably stick close to home in case we have issues from the wind. Being surrounded by trees is always an adventure. I was just out securing the light items and bringing the trash cans under the deck and it’s so quiet and calm out right now.
It looks like the animal kingdom is also hunkering down. I don’t see the normal morning activity out back. No deer or squirrels and the birds seem to have disappeared all but a few distant chirps. At least the wind will clear out this cloudy start to the day.
So if you don’t see anymore postings today you can assume I’m powerless and gone out photographing for a bit till I have to worry about how to heat the house. Enjoy your day, be safe and healthy.
