The Daily Writing prompt asks “Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?

My favorite place to visit is the eastern shores of Maryland and Delaware, along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The exact spots there are the beach and Dumser’s Ice Cream during hotrod weekends with my better half or as a family during the summer.

I also like to visit my children’s homes, and seeing them and my grandchildren. I like visiting my parents at Arlington National Cemetery.

I’m guessing this question was getting more at where you might traveled to on vacation. Well as of yet were not much of world or even country travelers. But the time is coming for a few trips I hope.

My favorite trips this year were going to New York City with my son for a Yankee game, and going to the Maryland Zoo with my daughter and granddaughter. And with my wife the days we went to Antietam and Gettysburg together. Both a fairly short drive through the country and just walking, holding hands, talking and being together. Having simple meals at local places and unwinding.
