Monday salutations

Making the best of a cloudy Monday morning.

I was much more into Sunday’s sunrise over the ocean than the mist filled one this morning. I grabbed a snapshot 5 minutes apart starting at 5:57am from the Grand Hotel webcam yesterday. I’ve stayed at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City before and been very pleased.

I thank them for the great view most mornings.

I must prepare for a family invasion later this week. That means prepping the basement and moving a little of my studio into the office. Also locking the workroom and taking care of the mess, I create.

This will be the first gathering of all of us at the same time with the new baby. I better charge the camera batteries and get the tripod set up for a group shot.

I hope the weather is good because one of them is going to demand a tractor ride.

Random Thoughts of the Morning

  • I can’t believe I’m interested in reading the AARP magazine.
  • Wishing those who celebrate, a happy Cinco De Mayo. I have two friends on vacation that are making up for any lack of celebration on my part.
  • I’m too old to be practicing my mechanical skills.
  • Sometimes pain is just exhausting, not just physically but mentally.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
