On the way down to Columbia MD Saturday one of my old favorites came on the speakers. The song, Woodstock performed by Crosby Stills Nash and Young. One I listened to as a teen in 1970.
The reason for being out was to attend the No Kings rally. I decided to stop sitting on the sidelines. Don’t take that the wrong way. I vote in every election, even the primaries. I’m tired of the nonsense and the direction this administration has taken the country. And I’m getting involved in changing it.
Family taught me some history lessons before they passed. The WWII and Korea generation warned me of this kind of ideology. Declaring your own citizens the enemy is harking back to dangerous days.
A bully and narcissist are not what we need to lead this country. So, I will be part of the change.
Just a few of the warning signs I saw at the rally.
