Not into conspiracy theories

What’s a conspiracy theory you actually find believable? – Asks the daily prompt.

Personally, I don’t keep up with all the conspiracy theory’s running around. I hate the damage they cause some people who are affected by false claims. And sadly, for the people that believe them.

My example would be the Alex Jones and false claims on the Sandy Hook School shootings that killed 26 people was staged. Another good one would be the Holocaust never happened. Those types of claims further victimize people needlessly.

I’ve read through lists of them and I can’t find one I find believable. So, I’ll come up with one of my own.

I think Trump will do anything to steal, cancel or manipulate the vote this coming November to his favor.

A man with short hair is seen from behind, wearing a black T-shirt with the text 'THE LIVER IS EVIL... IT MUST BE PUNISHED!' printed on it, while talking on his phone.
I have never heard it put this way before. Photo by Mike Hartley

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. That’s a really fair and original take on the prompt. It’s refreshing to see someone turn the question around and focus on the real harm caused by baseless claims instead of just repeating popular internet theories. Your approach does a great job of showing the difference between wild rumors and things people can actually observe. Great post!
