What have you been putting off doing? Why? – The daily writing prompt trying to frustrate me first thing on a Sunday morning, how nice.
Cleanup on Isle 3. On isle 3 are my 3 computers. There is a method to my madness, but it could be seen as a slightly disorganized mess.
I haven’t organized my photo collection well. The need to spend a few days concentrating on organizing and uploading images to my photo site is getting urgent. The why is I keep shooting more and can barely keep up with editing those images I like on the first go round.
My writings are fairly organized, but I had hundreds of notes on ideas, thoughts and sometimes a couple pages of a tangent I go on that occasionally turns into something good. But they need to be organized. The why on this one is a bit deeper. I’d like to be a writer but I’m at best a novice at it and might be a bit scared of writing a few books.
Then there is email hell, another one where I need to automate more and do a major cleaning on. The why to it being put off is, I GET TOO MUCH FRIGGEN EMAIL.
On the non-technical front,
I’ve put off fixing my string trimmer because the first two attempts failed and I didn’t want to test my patience with a third.
There are a few yard projects I’ve either delayed or put off till next year. The why is because this old body has only so much energy on some days, which limits production.
I put off replacing my tractor, which is 27 years old. When I picked out the one I liked, I realized it was too big to fit into my current shed. I thought about replacing the shed, but the grass needed cutting so I got the old one running again somehow and it made it through another season. Maybe next year.
