Busy Day

What have you been working on? – Asks the daily writing prompt. Not a bad question to answer each day.

I’m working on building out my new laptop, installing software, migrating some data and working through a few issues. I let my technology knowledge lapse and I’m playing catch up.

Lots of work on editing photos from the trip to the beach and yesterday’s No Kings rally. Plus, I’d like to get out today and capture some of the change of season colors.

Writing has been a focus for a bit but I’m going to give that a break for a bit except for the blog.

Food is always something I’m thinking about and hope to be working on more. Maybe I’ll grill out today.

Later I’ll be working on the backyard, mowing it which I postponed from Friday.

The bottle of car wax is looking at me reminding me to accomplish that task before it gets too cold out.

What I’d like to be working on is some hammock time, some seat time in the Miata with the top down on this sunny Sunday before the rains this evening.

Alright Alright Alright

What have you been working on? – The Daily writing prompt inquires.

Last night I edited about 400 photos from the Ocean City shoot, and I have about 500 more to go this morning. I hope to finish the horse carving and make more progress on a dolphin carving for my granddaughter.

I’ve got to mow the backyard, the fun machine needs a wash. I’d like to take a joy ride later when it warms up. Of course, I’ll throw the camera in the car when I go.

Oh yeah, it’s leaf season so I’ve got a few big piles to move to the bank and blow off the decks. My better half is doing the grocery-getter role so I’ll at least help her unload and look for what treats I might be getting.

I’ve got to reply to a few invites and address and mail two letters. Whoops, forgot when I looked in the mirror that the beard needs a trim.

Hell, I haven’t even looked at my to-do list so I’m sure if there are a few free minutes there’s something on that needing attention.

And if I have a free minute I’ll roll the dice and see what turns up.
