The daily writing prompt asks – Describe a family member.
Eyes that look deep into your soul. A grip so tight it hangs on for life. A smile that can touch my heart and choke me up. Hair and skin are so soft to the touch. A giggle that makes me chuckle. A look at life with amazement.
Always learning and listening intently. Intrigued by other family members and always glad to see them. One of the few people I enjoy watching sleep.

Describe a family member. – There goes the daily writing prompt getting all personal again.
Loving, smart, thoughtful, compassionate, insightful, funny, sharing, dedicated, respectful, responsible, creative, talented, appreciative, hard-working, and honest. Those were the qualities when I looked at any member of my family. We have our bad days but all those good things far outweigh the rare mistake.
I’m the least skilled of any of those good things. And I couldn’t be prouder that they are all better at those positive things than I am. They help make me a better person. I’m a lucky guy.
