Howard County Maryland – Fall

With the chill in the air this morning it reminded me that fall is here and winter right on its heals. But before that nonsense (winter) I hope to appreciate the beauty of the fall season. But my first observation this Fall is that we have leaves falling very early without even turning colors yet. I also see lots of leaves coming down that are still green. Not sure what it means, but either I’ve been missing the details of Fall or this season is starting off a bit strange.

I look forward to that yellow at the intersection in the picture. I look forward to the reds in downtown Ellicott City. I look forward to the palette that Rocky George provides and the reflections of those colors in the water. I look forward to the various size and colors of pumpkins/gourds that people display.

I hope to share the upcoming beauty that nature gives us the next few weeks. For those not lucky enough to get out and enjoy it themselves.
