Bee all you can be

A warm one out there yesterday afternoon. I love it though and so did this bee. And the line at Rita’s confirms the temps in the 80’s. This has and always will be my favorite season. I can lay in my hammock, not wear shoes and a host of other benefits. Just the sun on my skin feels to energize me. So as I see the coming up this morning I think I’ll head outside.

I should have purchased a Rita’s franchise long ago. Those things seem to be a hit but are seasonal. They need to find something to sell during the winter months though.

Yesterday I was so inspired but the body and mind had nothing left after chores. Yes I did get out for a few minutes of shooting but nothing substantial. I hope today is better but it already looks pretty full. So I think I’ll run out this morning and grab a few frames before a 10am appointment.

You know holiday weekends just aren’t as important when you work them. But such is life. At least I’ll know I’ll appreciate them more when I retire someday. The first one or two that you work and get that double time pay its nice but I can tell you it’s not worth it at all.

I see we had another power outage last night. Come on BG&E, it didn’t even storm last night. I don’t know what it is about this area but they have a hell of a time with their uptime.

Random Thoughts for Friday morning July 1st 2016

  • How do you want to be remembered? Well start living like that.
  • I need balance. Its life and its excesses that keep getting in the way.
  • There is a time to shoot and there is a time to observe.
  • Half the year down. Where does the time go?
  • What if Donald Trump wins?

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. Love Rita’s and I shudder at the last question.
