Good day and Godspeed

Wow, I love me some Fridays. My better half and I make it a day together. Yes sometimes and a lot of the times, there are errands or appointments or chores mixed in and throughout the day. Sometime we get to sleep in, some days not. Lots of time we will be able to grab a meal out together, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. But sometimes its a whole free day.

Sometimes were up early for a day trip or extra long weekend. We take a short hiatus from our Fridays in the summer when my Daughter is off from teaching and they spend them together. Which is fine with me because I also love spending time with my children anytime possible.

And though this Friday is spent winterizing the tools, shed, outdoor furniture and the such. I think we may be having dinner with some good friends to finish another wonderful day. So whatever your journey today, much health and joy to all.

So I ran across this shot I took when we had just come back in from catching our limit for the day last Saturday. Its seemed like a good shot to start this day.

Oh, sorry about the miss on yesterdays post or lack there of. Life was out of balance. Lack of sleep, stress about the job and waiting on medical results all sapped my energy. And when I took a few hours to catch part of the ballgame at the end of the day with my brothers that was it for my brain and the system shut down.

But I’m back strong today so let’s have some fun this weekend.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.

  1. It’s good to be back stronger always. I like the optimism. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
