I don’t know what it is but I love having woods around me. And I love this view out the right side of the bay window in our kitchen for summer sunrises. I’m going to think of that warmth the next two days as temps dip into the nasty range and the term wind chill re-enters our vocabulary.
Don’t know why I chose this photo today. Guess it mirrored my outlook at the time. I was too busy to do much more than sort though some older shoots for something, instead of shooting something new. You know, that primary job keeps eating up time in large chunks that it makes it difficult to do more and keep some balance in life.
But I’m motivated and I’m going to see how that camera behaves in some lower temps because I hope to get out and shoot some the next two days. I guess that is my term for grabbing a few frames between Xmas shopping. Hell its how I shoot most of the time, between other task or socializing with friends, family on day trips or vacations. Outside my front door.
Or in the case of this shot being up at sunrise as I often am and enjoying the inspiration and thinking to grab the camera. But I love every minute and every chance I do get. I really waste some opportunities from time to time and I hope to fix that in short order.
OK a thought – you ever get so tired you do a post and spell and design check it and forget to hit the publish button. Happened to me the first time yesterday. Such is life sorry for the missed day. So be warned, you might get multiple post today being my weekend is starting soon.
OK, 1 more thought – today is the day you find out how well your house is insulated, or not.
