Unlike the cold rain this morning, the warmth of the morning sun in a warm climate is a gift. I almost trashed this shot the other day. Then it started to grow on me. I guess I’m in love with every sunrise and sunset. And the more I saw the sun almost exiting on the left I said this is different. And different is a good start. The second thing it did was make me think of Florida where I shot it and a friend there.
I hope to finally get out and check out some of the Christmas light displays around Howard County. Yes I’m going to take the camera. I’ll try not to bore you with too many of them.
The wheels are turning here in Camp Woodstock. Working on several projects for the coming year ahead. Also doing some heavy additions to my photo website, getting things organized and documented a bit. I have over 1,700 images in there now and I hope to have over 2000 by the end of this week.
I’m feeling good and optimistic. I feel so fortunate to make time to do these creative jaunts. It keeps me focused on something positive and reminds me to follow through on enjoyable things in life while maybe developing into a better person and helping others. I’ll report later on today’s effort to help someone.
My advice for the next 36 hours. Bundle up, it’s going to get breezy. That won’t bode well for trying to take night pictures of lights that are moving. Then again it might be a new type of result. Hope I get the chance to practice it.
