Feeling good to start this week. Survived the wind storm without damage, only lost power a few times but only for a few minutes and after a long war with my primary computer it lives again. One thing I’ve learned recently is having physical therapy and home exercises is like having a part-time job. And while that job is feeling better, a fine goal indeed, it really changes your free time.
Speaking of time. I noticed some major changes on the Photo.net site for photographers that I belong to. And I really don’t care for it so far but I’ll give it a chance. I hate investing in something and then having it changed so dramatically. Seemed to really piss off a great number of shutter bugs. And if I have the same level of frustration with it that I do now by the end of the week, changes will be in order.
Sometimes I feel like I should just roll my own systems. With the exception of this one so far. Of course I don’t scratch the surface much with this as others do. But it is reliable and intuitive.
Today is the day, a small close group of friends, remember one of our own. 3 years ago our friend Dan passed. We still keep him in our thoughts and our hearts. He is still with our laughter. He still steps on the boat with us each time we go out. He is not forgotten and will always be our brother.
Salute to you Captain Dan McMullen. And thank you for the fond memories. You were a Fine Man. Your brothers.
