Brush it off

Actually accomplished a few things yesterday. The kid is in gear and cooking with juice. A few more chores off the list. A wonderful time with some close friends on Thursday night. A nice weekend ahead. The sun was out, what’s not to like? Well to start with I just put my hand on a window and Mr Freeze was on the other side. I yanked my partially frozen arm away from the window and ran towards the thermostat.

Brush off the small stuff.

That’s right. I said something stupid in a post a day or so ago about going out to shoot in this cold. What idiot came up with that thought? But those clear skies and colors of the trees are certainly tempting. OK, I’ll get out sometime today.

I got my better half some flowers yesterday. Something I used to do often for my Mom in her later years. I like doing it at no special time to surprise them. I should start getting her Mom some once in a while. It’s such an easy way to bring a smile to someones face.

Well, I see the sun starting to rise, think I’ll take an early morning ride and see if I can catch an image or two. Time to scoot. And no I wouldn’t be caught dead on that bike. But I bet my daughter would like that, it’s the right color to start with.

No I’m taking the car this morning. A bit chilly for the top down though.

Random Thoughts

Thinking about the coming Thanksgiving celebration/feast. Will be good to have some relaxed family time.

You ever think you’re making a ton of progress but when you look at it a while later you don’t see results you hoped for?

It’s never to late to recover. Knowing what you need to recover from is an important start.

I’ve found a way to get the creative juices flowing on command. I just start thinking about cleaning my office and all of a sudden I’m typing away.

I’m disappointed that we are so polarized that common sense is victimized.

I wish I was wrong about the coming civil war but all signs I see, say full speed ahead. Hell with alternative facts, we are in an alternative reality.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
