Shutdown Saturday

Nope, no politics here today. Just shutting down any type of negativity, or fighting or propaganda or pompous people. Going to enjoy family and friends this weekend. I need to relax anyway, lots of things I’ll never change but there are some I might have impact on. Hopefully starting with myself. There is a lot I’d like to do and of course the selection of things I could improve on is endless. So I had best get busy accomplishing something.

The sands of time are catching up and threaten to diminish the goals and ideas of a younger man who started them late in life and an older man. That is a regret I can’t change, but can still work on and maybe still come up with something that catches on or just hangs on someones wall or a quote they like and remember. Whatever nugget it is, its fine and great with me.

If it makes me feel more complete. If it gives me some pride or satisfaction. It was just reinforced over this weekend by my father in-law. About going for it and continuing my goals and work. That each of us need to follow our heart and real interest.

Tonight sounds like a good evening to work in my home studio. Washing the car and SUV have taken a toll on the mainspring. I guess I should get to work on constructing a home studio. That would be a start. Tonight we find light. Obviously light is the key. The absence of light in nothing. You can get away with very little light, but no light is not cool.

I’m also going to get busy making some larger prints for the family. I haven’t made good use of my new printer yet but that is about to change this weekend.

It’s amazing how much easier the flow of thoughts are when you got your health and can focus on creating. Life is good today. And Sunday is going to be a winner for sure. But first another ballgame and some studio setup.

Random Thoughts of the Day

You would think with so many glasses that I could see pretty well.

It’s a busy week ahead. Thank goodness.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
