I’ve attached my rope to a new part of life and we are about to launch. I’m so thankful to have made it this far. It’s a strange feeling indeed. Like entering high school on the first day or the first day at a new job. A sense of unknown experiences, unexplored places and events, learning new things, and with my lifelong better half to enjoy the journey.
I also have high hopes to learn if there is some buried artistic talent deep down inside me that is dying to get out. I picked up charcoal and pastel paper yesterday to get busy from the jump. I’ve got my studio lights and tripods out. The new backup drive for the new computer system will be attached later today. Getting the foundation for production.
Each day progress on working that itch that has laid dormant for decades.
Top Down Day
Countdown to 50s. It’s going to be in the mid-50 degree range today and that is a treat for mid-December so the call is for a ride with the top down. Yeah, that’s way too cold for my better half so I’ll have to take a short ride by myself before we run a few errands together.
Long live the convertible.
Random Thoughts of the Day
- Wow, just read that – A Charlie Brown Christmas is 58 years old. I enjoy it as much today as I did when I first saw it.
- Blades of grass blowing in the wind can entertain me. But I’d rather watch grains of sand blow on the beach while I’m face down on my blanket on a sunny day.
- I miss my cat trying to climb inside the Christmas tree.
- Aerosmith took the title of my new status next year. PERMANENT VACATION
