The Daily writing prompt asks – What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

I’m not going to say my middle name because the only person who used that is my mother and when she did she wasn’t happy. And I want to remember her as happy.

I have a friend who uses his middle name as his name.

I don’t think I’ve ever used my wife’s middle name in talking to her. Or for that fact our children.

My group of friends is very into nicknames.
