I’m about to put that Canon Pro-100 to the test tonight. If it’s not smoking by the time I go to bed, the power has probably gone out. Which is a possibility with some strong winds tonight. I’m trying to get a few books together of images from Maryland towns. So I’m gathering what I think are the best images and then having some close friends and family help me edit it down.

This was a fine day of rest and relaxation. And even though an hour was lost it doesn’t feel like it. Now the rising and setting later of the sun is noticeable. And I LOVE IT. By midweek I’ll be working on my tan.

Well with the good comes the bad and this regular season of Maryland basketball is complete. Not the season that was predicted but predictions are for those who don’t play the game. They played hard this year, lost a lot of close games, and had one of the best defenses in the country. But they just can’t shoot the ball. And it’s tough to win games if you can’t score.

We will cheer for them in the Big 10 Conference championship but the thought of winning 5 games in 5 days is a bit far-fetched. But one can hope. Go Terps.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Okay, I can handle one cold night.
  • It’s nice to be at peace, with one’s self.
  • Going to give myself a few more challenges this week.
  • There is no excuse not to create. You just choose to do something else.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
