Tied Together

If we like it or not we are tied together. Not just by the power grid, cell towers, our highway system, or connected neighborhoods and homes. Not only our grocery stores and farms or buses and schools. When we get married we tie the knot. Sometimes when fishing our lines get tied together.

We are tied together at work for a common cause. Many worship at church together. We dine at many establishments together. I used to think we would come together in the defence of our own country but I’m not so sure of that today.

Regardless we are tied so tightly together and so dependent on each other that all this anger and mean-spirited actions are just a waste of time and energy that could be put to better use. Instead of being fit to be tied, maybe we can tie a knot together again.

Enough soapbox, the rubber will meet the road this year on that front.

I’m on a roll today attacking several projects at once and knocking out a few chores along the way. I think I’ll get back to making some prints this evening and uploading some to the photo site. However, I will get up from this station tomorrow morning and take a few long walks with the camera for some new images.

Random Thoughts of the Day

  • Sunrises and Sunsets on Ocean City Webcams are great, but much better in person.
  • Mother Nature and her winds were doing some tree pruning last night. And I heard some more crackling this afternoon.
  • If I’d known retirement was this good I’d have gotten to it sooner.
  • I love the sunshine today but that gusting wind has to go.

With a lifetime and a half in the Newspaper industry I'm preparing for my retirement career as an Artist, Writer, Photographer and Video content provider. I'm a proud father of two wonderful children and I'm still married to the first girl I fell in love with and probably only one that would have me.
